Affiliate programme

Send us a store that subscribes, and we split what they pay.

You get a discount code that is worth something to the merchant. When one of them redeems it and their subscription actually starts billing, you earn a share. No tracking links, no cookies, no dashboard to refresh.

01

How it works

A code, redeemed by a merchant. That is the whole mechanism.

  1. We approve you and issue a discount code that is yours alone.
  2. You give it to merchants. It is a real discount on their subscription, so it is worth their while to use it.
  3. A merchant redeems it, picks a plan, and Shopify starts billing them. That is the moment that earns you a commission.

There is nothing to install or configure. No script, no link wrapper, no attribution window to argue about. The code being typed is the record.

The trade, said plainly: we can only credit you when the merchant remembers to use your code. In exchange, nothing is lost to an expired cookie, and none of the people you talk to are tracked.

02

What you earn

A share of what the merchant actually pays us.

Rate
20% of what the merchant actually pays us, after the discount your code gives them.
Duration
the first paid month of each subscription you bring.
When
Paid once the merchant's first billing period closes, so a first-month cancellation does not become an invoice we have to claw back.
How
by invoice, or to a PayPal address. We do not collect or store bank details.
Currency
US dollars, matching what Shopify bills the merchant and pays us in.

The share is taken after the discount, not before. Your code makes the app cheaper for the merchant, and the part they do not pay is not revenue either of us receives.

03

What does not earn a commission

Only money that reaches us can be shared.

Installs
A merchant can install, look around and never subscribe. Nothing has been paid, so there is nothing to share.
Trials
The trial is free. A commission starts at the first real charge, not at sign-up.
Cancelled early
A subscription approved and then cancelled before it bills earns nothing, because nothing was collected.
Clicks and traffic
We measure nothing about visits. If a merchant does not type your code, we cannot tell that you sent them.
04

What voids one

Three things, and none of them are judgement calls.

  • Redeeming your own code. On your own store, one you own part of, or one you administer. Referring yourself is a discount, not a referral.
  • Posting the code publicly. Coupon aggregators, deal sites, discount browser extensions. A code on one of those collects on merchants who found us on their own, and we will not pay for those.
  • Misrepresenting the product. Claiming results, guarantees or features Zinx Signal does not have. A merchant who subscribes on a promise we cannot keep cancels, and it costs us both.

Redemptions are checked against these before a first payout. If something looks wrong we will ask you about it before deciding anything.

05

Who this suits

People already advising merchants, rather than people buying traffic.

  • Agencies and freelancers running Shopify stores for clients.
  • CRO and analytics consultants, where an A/B testing tool is already part of the recommendation.
  • Writers, newsletters and course authors with a Shopify audience.

If the plan is to bid on our brand name in paid search, this is not a fit — that competes with us for merchants who were already on their way.

06

How to apply

Email us. A person reads it.

There is no form. Write to [email protected] with:

  • Who you are, and what you do with Shopify merchants.
  • Where you would talk about Zinx Signal.
  • Roughly how many merchants that reaches.

If it fits, we create your code and send it back with the terms above restated in writing. Approvals are done by hand, so expect a reply from a person rather than an instant dashboard.

07

Changes

Terms can change. Commissions already earned do not.

We may change the rate, the duration or these rules for conversions that happen after the change. Anything already earned is settled on the terms that applied when that merchant subscribed.

Everything here sits alongside our terms of service and privacy policy.
